Information about our servers

Please note that our public servers don't represent our private servers. Since so many players connect to our public servers they easily runs out of memory and that causes lag. If you want to test the ping against a private server, please contact us.

Datacenter

All our servers are located in a datacenter with controlled temperature and power (Uninterruptable Power Supply). The enviroment inside the datacenter is always kept within good levels.

We have access to the datacenter 24/7 and can be on place within 1 hour if needed.

Internet

We have a 1 Gbit connection available at all times within our datacenter, of that we use about 15Mbit, that means that there is always enough bandwidth for everyone. Our datacenter is connected to our ISP with a gigabit fiber uplink.

Peering

Our servers are only three router jumps away from the peer-point in Sundsvall, operated by Netnod. Our ISP has got a big international backbone, see this map for more information.

IP-addresses

We have private IP-addresses assigned from our ISP, this means that each server get it's own IP-address resulting in all servers operating on the standard port, which is port 27015 for Counter-Strike. Each customer also get to assign a unique hostname for a server, for example, clanname.gotgame.se.

Network

We only use network equipment from Extreme Networks. The gear is configured specially for online gaming. Each server is connected with a 100 Mbit CAT5e cable and are running on full duplex, autonegotiation turned off.
