Rules for the Counter-strike servers
Mapwalking
There are locations on each map that are deemed forbidden, these places are usually places you wouldn't be able to access without the jumping skill of the Undead or the Teleport ability of the Humans (Some exceptions may apply).You can view a list of such locations along with some screenshots of forbidden places a little bit further down on this page and while these are not all of the forbidden places we feel they give a good presentation of what a forbidden place is. Stay clear of such areas to ensure that you will not be banned for mapwalking.
Examples of areas that would be deemed forbidden:
- Roofs that are outside of regular map area. See the pictures for examples
- Small corners where you are able to stand on pointy polygons
- Skywalking
- There are locations which are excluded from this rule. For example most boxes or crates
Skywalking
Skywalking is when you use a flaw in the map design in order to be placed outside the designated play area. A good example is the CT starting location on de_dust where you are able to jump up and run above the skybox. This is not allowed and in performing this you will be banned permanently if you are caught.TK & TD
Causing damage to a teammate is not allowed on GotGame.se , if you damage a teammate on purpose you will be subject to punishment.You may recieve a warning first but the punishment can be enforced without prior warning.
Pay attention to who you open fire upon.
Language & attitude
We do not condone bad language or a general bad attutide towards your fellow gamers.We are aware of the fact that everyone have differences in opinions and values but as long as you are playing on our servers you will have to do so by our rules. Swearing at or displaying bad attitude towards players is not allowed and you may be banned without warning.
We feel strongly against namecalling and calling your fellow gamers names is frowned upon. Calling someone a noob will get you a 1 week vacation from our servers.
We understand your right of free speech and thought, but we don't want to hear them on our servers.
We only allow Swedish and English on our servers. Use of any other languages will rend a warning, failure to understand and/or adjust to the warning will result in a ban.
Settings
No alternative settings are allowed. This includes changing skins, crosshairs etc. You are of course allowed to change your config.Use of alternative settings will result in permanent ban.
The use of scripts or performance of manual actions which take advantage of flaws in the game design or coding of the game, known as "exploits" are prohibited.
These include, but are not limited to bunnyjumping, speed walking or crouch walking.
Nickname
Same rules as for language and attitude. Avoid immature and insulting nicknames.Common sense
- Try as hard as possible to maintain a pleasant environment for you and your fellow players
- Don't be a whiner, no spamming, etc
- Observe that further examples on forbidden places might come so visit the page every now and then
Warnings
If you break a rule while playing on our servers you may recieve a warning prior to a ban, but this is not always the case.Forbidden places
